Smooch is an online dating site for meeting singles in your area. The site before being revamped offered a completely free dating site. Now, you can still sign up for free and browse through profiles however to utilize features such as unlimited messaging, no ads and see who your matches are.

Unfortunately with the way the site's search feature is set up it made it difficult to find local members. You can’t search for members by city, only by country and state. Also they lack in some communication features such as chat rooms and forums.

Smooch.com does have potential to be a good site but just need to tweak some of the features that they offer.
